DIY TEA

is a packaging/container project for five types of tea, serving as a reminder to draw from the richness and diversity of life. The project promotes mental well-being through the act of doing — engaging in simple activities without the pressure of spectacular outcomes. Tea, as an infusion, becomes both a soothing ritual and a symbol of mindful action. The project blends elements of craftsmanship and pleasure, allowing users to assemble the container themselves from modular parts.

The project consists of two components. The first is the main package, which contains all the necessary information. The second is a DIY container holding loose-leaf tea. The modular parts that make up the container function like a puzzle — something to keep your hands busy while waiting for the tea to steep. Once used, the packaging can be repurposed (e.g., as a storage box or lampshade). When a full set — or most of it — is collected, the modules can be arranged into a totem that serves as a quiet reminder of the value of calm and stillness.
